When the ball drops and fireworks light up the night sky for millions of wasted party-goers, Dylan, Greg and I will be in the air above the Atlantic Ocean leaving for a 3 week tour of Spain. My mom - the cultured, worldly, brimming with motherly influence parent that she is, thought it would be a good idea to check out the works of a Valencia born native - Santiago Calatrava Valls, the “internationally recognized and award winning Spanish architect, sculptor and structural engineer.” If his blend of the three inter-related fields in his unique architecture is symbolic for the time we’re going to have over there, it should be one hell of a crazy time.
